Who is Eligible?

A prospective Gainesville Newcomers’ Club member must currently reside in Hall County, or must have resided in Hall County for no more than three (3) years.

How can I become a member?

By invitation to a monthly luncheon meeting by a current Gainesville Newcomers' Club member, or

By emailing the Hospitality Committee to let them know you would like to attend a luncheon meeting as a guest.

What steps do I take to become an official member of GNC?

Ladies wishing to join the Gainesville Newcomers' Club must attend at least one (1) but no more than three (3) luncheon meetings before they can become a member. Your attendance at a monthly luncheon meeting may be made through an invitation by a member, or by making a luncheon reservation through the Hospitality Committee. Luncheon meetings are held on the fourth Wednesday of each month at the Chattahoochee Country Club. The cost to attend is $20.00 per person. The Hospitality Committee will supply prospective new members with informational packets regarding the Gainesville Newcomers' Club.

GUESTS contact the Hospitality Committee, by emailing them at RSVPguests@gainesvillenewcomersclub.com, or members can make their guest reservations by phone to a member of the Hospitality Committee.

If after attending a luncheon as a guest you decide to join the Gainesville Newcomers' Club, inform the Hospitality Committee, who will then invite you to be our guest at the next luncheon meeting. Your first luncheon as a member of the Gainesville Newcomers' Club is paid for by the Club. At that luncheon, you will be officially introduced to the membership by the Hospitality Committee. You will then be able to enjoy all the privileges of membership!

Annual cost of membership is $30.00 per person payable as you join GNC. The membership year is September 1 through August 31. Once you become a member of the Gainesville Newcomers' Club, you must make luncheon reservations by email or phone.

MEMBERS contact the Luncheon Committee, by emailing them at RSVPluncheon@gainesvillenewcomersclub, or they may make their reservations with the Luncheon Committee.

Reservations must be made no later than 7 days prior to the luncheon. Once reservations are made you can cancel up to seven days prior to the luncheon without penalty. Reservations not cancelled seven days prior to the luncheon will be billed to the member at the $20.00 luncheon cost.

After joining our Newcomers' Club, we encourage you to sign up and participate in the many Interest Groups available to GNC members.
