PRESIDENT'S MESSAGE:

Hello Newcomers,

Can you believe it is already May? This year is speeding by us it seems. We have had some wonderful programs and meetings since our Mardi Gras celebration. In March we learned neat decorating tips, and the Make-Over’s in April were lots of fun … thank you, volunteers! Our Community Services group has been so busy collecting canned goods each month to help our local Salvation Army. “Panties in a Wad” and the Baby Shower were fun, creative collections to help support our community.

Thank you so much to all who have contributed- such a generous group! I know you are looking forward to our May and June meetings just as much as I am...hope to see you there!

The next meeting of the Gainesville Newcomers' Club, Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at the Chattahoochee Country Club.

Luncheon reservations must be made no later than seven days prior to the luncheon.

We will have a spokesperson from Chestatee Wildlife Zoo. The Zoo is home to over 150 exotic, native and domestic animals featuring rare White Siberian Tigers, Leopards, Lions, Grizzly Bears and Pippi, "World Famous Zedonk".
